New HSQ Series

Sun Nov 8, 2009, 8:22 AM
In the past week, I've discovered that it is going to be too hard to do Sojourner and Psi right now so I've decided to focus on more simple storylines that aren't necessarily designed to be presented to an audience in live action. This has also led to the resurrection of an older story as well as a concept from a few months ago making its way into the fold. There are also several sketch shorts in the works. I'll list these below:

Time Traveler (2005): A story concept meant to introduce the audience to the R1 (or Reboot 1) storyline of Trinity. It was originally designed to be in novel form but can easily be implemented into machinima. I submitted a few chapters of this story back in 2005 to deviantART and had at least one fan of it (maybe two).

M & H (tentative title) (2009): A comedy-themed feminist talk show that borrows the point/counterpoint theme from several political talk shows (with a comedic spin) and borrows slightly from Mind of Mencia on other fronts. Originally designed to be a two host (one female and one male) show but has been reduced to just the one female host. There may or may not be a monologue.

As well as several sketch shorts including -
- Zombie Apocalypse preparation: Features the actress who will play Marie Herring on Psi and the currently unnamed female engineer of Sojourner giving the audience pointers on how to survive the coming zombie apocalypse.

- Geico-themed Civil Protection propaganda commercial: Features a member of Civil Protection running around to "Let me be Myself" in a similar fashion as the caveman from the Geico commercial. Features the catch phrase "Fifteen minutes could save you 15% or more of your life."

- Fountain Brew commercial: Obviously a spoof of Mountain Dew. Borrows a meaningless and dull name that references the fact that the name "Mountain Dew" is somewhat meaningless in today's society. I might do a Gipsi-Cola commercial as well. (see if you can catch which soda I'm referencing there). I'm still deciding on that one.

What is the biggest mistake you have ever made?
